Reading signs (believing in ancestral or spirit gu Reading signs (believing in ancestral or spirit guidance) seems to be something we’re born with. It’s a critical piece to building intuition, self-trust, and instinctual confidence.

A person tends to believe or not believe though, and no version is wrong. Me…I’m a believer.

Hello friends! It’s been awhile since I’ve i Hello friends!

It’s been awhile since I’ve introduced myself. So for those who don’t yet know me, I thought I’d tell you a few key things about me.

1.) I live in Northern New Mexico, and I love it like a soulmate.

2.) I spent 20 years in Veterinary Medicine before I burned out (to a crisp), and made the abrupt decision to leave my career and start completely over. The stress and relief of this major life change was the catalyst for a terrifying & beautiful spiritual awakening the details of which still blow my mind thirteen years later.

3.) I wrote an award-winning memoir about that fantastical series of psychological & psychic events titled, “Stark Raving Zen: A Memoir of Coming Alive.”

4.) In the meanwhile I earned a master’s degree in psychology and started my own transformational coaching practice over a decade ago. (I already had a bachelor’s degree in organizational psychology.)

5.) Today I tend to the spirits, growth, dreams, and inspirations of Highly Sensitive People around the globe.

And I’m so grateful to know you. 🙏

Much Love,
Kristy

I have a Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in psych I have a Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in psychology. I’m a transformational coach, and yes, I verbally process a lot with my clients. But…

My Highly Sensitive friends, it’s okay if you don’t always feel like verbally processing. And not everyone responds positively to talk therapy. That’s just a fact.

There are so many ways to heal. Often our psychological issues can be traced back to our body. We can become stuck, sad, angry, or even sick when our energy stagnates, stops moving.

Our psychological issues can also be a symptom of feeling spiritually lost, empty, or disconnected.

I believe we need to think outside the box a little more. There is no cookie-cutter pathway to healing. And whatever you feel you need more of to keep your spirit shining has merit. Those instincts of yours should be trusted.

Just a few alternatives, or complimentary adjuncts, to talk therapy are listed below. All of them have science-backed data which supports their efficacy. All of them can create tremendous shifts inside of you.

- Mindfulness practice
- Somatic work (ex: dance, Yoga, EMDR…)
- Daily journaling (without toxic rumination)
- Eastern medicine inc. Ayurveda practices
- 2 hours a week in Nature (has a profoundly positive effect on brain chemistry). Less than two hours is also incredibly therapeutic.
- Read books on resonant psychological topics.
- Physical activity (20 min of daily walking is ideal.)
- Daily meditation practice
- Healing your gut biome: directly linked to mental health
- Volunteer for a cause you feel is important
- Work with a spiritual mentor
- Listen to uplifting or spiritual podcasts
- Energy work

Let me know below what you are intrigued by. And if you’d like a free 50-page self-guided workbook to help you calm your nervous system, follow my ✨FREE✨ link. 🙏

Much Love,

HSPs have got to have a sense of ✨meaning✨. HSPs have got to have a sense of ✨meaning✨.

This is literally the battery that charges your life.

Without it life feels dull and pointless.

Build your life on a foundation of meaning and you will never feel lifeless again.

I love transpersonal psychologist Bill Plotkin, wh I love transpersonal psychologist Bill Plotkin, who wrote the words I speak today. He’s had a tremendous professional and personal influence on me.

& I love the term primordial wholeness. For Highly Sensitive People, it’s everything.

To me it signifies our completeness, the whole of who we truly are, not the stripped down, sanitized version of humanity that demands all Logos, no Eros.

The over-emphasis on Thinking, at the expense of Feeling has created a widespread pathology of spirit that has left billions feeling chronically disconnected, empty, and starved for a return to wholeness.

It manifests as a desire for more enchantment, deeper meaning, a little magic. And the questions I frequently hear post Stark Raving Zen, “How do I become more intuitive? How can I learn to trust my own instincts? How can I call in a little more of the everyday magic?”

My answer to all of this is to let Nature open our channels. To return to primordial wholeness means we return to seeing ourselves as a part of nature—not some illusory supreme being who stands outside of it. We Are Nature.

Unraveling all the knots around that truth sets us free. Within the illusion of separateness our instincts are stifled, our full expression is bound and gagged, and our ability to regulate our own nervous system is disabled. From that state we can’t possibly lead with confidence, or create with purpose, or access our own authenticity.

Nature is the magic. We are the magic. To unite the two is the doorway to Self. It’s the doorway to the extraordinary. It’s our pathway to coming alive. 💫🌟✨

Let me know if you’re feeling this today.👇 Let’s stick together, if so. ☺️
