A word about possibility.
One of the most exciting aspects of watching my coaching business expand is the fine-tuning that the expansion requires of me. Starting a private practice requires patience, faith, perseverance, and hard work. Sometimes without seeing much in the way of rapid results.
Sometimes in the beginning, there are compromises, re-directs, and drudgery (Networking events, anybody…?) that no Highly Sensitive Person loves.
In the beginning, I forgot the power of my own vision.
But when my clientele became plentiful, I relaxed, and started to visualize the possibility. I begin to calibrate my process into something that truly made me happy. And when I’m happy, my clients are happy; and that’s the truth of any business.
Coaching is a partnership, a sacred partnership which forms in service to the expansion of one person’s life, but also the expansion of all humanity. That is truly how I see it. (I regularly visualize the possibility of collective healing as well.)
As above, so below.
Because when we align with our purpose and begin expressing that purpose into the collective, into our day-to-day life, the whole world shifts, one person at a time. To me, this isn’t just work, it’s a sacred soul contract. So, who I work with is really important.
I think when we’re partnering with anyone through business (or with any other area of life) the most important exercise we can practice is to visualize our ideal partnerships. Who are they? How do they communicate with us? What’s their energy feel like? Do I like myself when I’m in their presence?
To me, it’s an intuitive exercise. When I do this kind of visualization, I truly feel those people—my ideal client partners & collaborators–in my energy space as if they’re already there. I see them lined up outside my door, ready to open up to their life and the global transformation that comes along with it.
Like the Butterfly Effect, when one person spreads their wings, it’s felt a million miles away.
This is how I visualize the possibility…
I feel the energy of what I’m looking for, without focusing on the details at first. How does the ideal partnership make me feel? I sit with it for a few minutes, giving it a landing pad to settle on. I visualize myself glowing, like a firefly, so that I’m visible in this world.
Then I bring in the details.
My ideal client, the ideal partnership I’m looking for is a person who:
- Fully owns the responsibility for their own life.
- Enjoys working their action steps because they understand their diligence means finding their ultimate freedom.
- Isn’t afraid of their own Shadow (I’m referring to the Jungian Shadow, not making a fraidy-cat reference). And by this I mean they’re open to exploring the behaviors that are outside their access of their awareness. Entering the sub-conscious realms. This takes guts.
- Understands what “sacred” means to them in their own life.
- Wants to learn to accept their sovereignty and the sovereignty of those around them. What I mean by this is a person needs to know it’s completely up to them to alter the course of their life. They also realize the importance of allowing others to navigate their own lives too.
- Has the courage to step out of their comfort zone. What drives this is the desire to never again feel the kind of fear that holds a person back from their own greatest dreams. The kind of fear that saves us from a grizzly bear attack is good. The kind of fear that keeps us from sharing our gifts with the world is begging to be transformed into a more useful form of energy.
If you haven’t already done this in your own life, with whomever you’re wanting to call in, please start today. It’s that important.
Make it a daily practice to visualize the possibility.
No matter what your focus is–work, new relationships, friendships, new directions—construct a clear image of those you are calling into your life. Feel them as if they’re already there, just waiting outside your door. Do this for 3-5 minutes, every day.
Don’t be alarmed when they come knocking!
Opening to the world of possibility means your life will start to shift. No question. You’re ready.
Much Love,
Kristy
P.S. ~ If you are in need of assistance in learning to visualize the possibility of what comes next for you, maybe I can help! That’s why I’m here.
